Fostering international physics collaborations

APS's travel grants and lectuerships are intended to encourage international collaboration. Some of these grants and lectureships also serve to bring international speakers to the APS March and April Meetings.

Funding and support for distinguished international physicists to speak at APS meetings

The Robert E. Marshak Lectureship provides travel support for physicists of any career level (i.e., from graduate student to senior scientist) from developing nations or Eastern Europe invited to speak at APS meetings.

Promoting international research collaborations between physicists

The FGSA Underrepresented Minority (URM) Student Awards seek to address inequities and unique challenges often faced by underrepresented students in physics.
