Registration
On-site registration takes place at the New Orleans Convention Center beginning on Sunday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. The APS registration desk will remain open on Sunday until 7:00 p.m. and re-open on Monday morning at 7:00 a.m. If you are giving a talk at the 8:00 a.m. session, do not wait until that morning to register.

Ways to Register
On-siteThe deadline for online registration has now passed. Registration must now be done on-site. Please be advised that you should expect to stand in long lines. On-site registration fees are considerably higher than the early fees. Also, if you are presenting your abstract at an 8:00am session, do NOT wait until the morning of your talk to register. Note: there is no on-site registration for tutorials – you must pre-register by February 11 to attend a tutorial.

Important Tips
ID Required
At the time you register you will be asked either for your printed confirmation or other form of ID.
Badge Monitoring
All attendees must register for the meeting. Attendees must wear their badges at all times. Badge monitors will be checking for badges before allowing admission to the sessions. Attendees without badges will not be admitted to sessions or the exhibit hall.
Registration Deadlines
On-site (highest fees) – After February 11 you cannot pre-register. Do not send a registration form to APS after February 11, you must register on-site. Registration will take place at the New Orleans Convention Center beginning on Sunday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. through Friday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. See registration hours below. If you are giving a talk at the 8:00 a.m. session, do not wait until that morning to register. Cancellation FeeCancellations must be received at APS in writing by March 8 (registrar@aps.org). All cancellations will be assessed a $40 cancellation fee REGARDLESS OF THE REASON FOR CANCELLING.

Airport to Hotel Ground Transportation
Taxi: Cab fare from the airport to downtown New Orleans is approximately $30 + tip.
Airport Shuttle: Schedule the airport shuttle through the Web Reservation Portal.
