APS Membership 2000 - 2009

The official APS membership count has set a new all-time record, reaching a total of 47,189 as of January 2009. This is an increase of 920 over 2008.

Much of the recent increase can be attributed to growth in the student member category. The total number of student members increased from 10,986 in 2008 to 12,143 in 2009, the highest number ever.  Article:  APS News
