Joint Statement on the Education of Future Teachers and list of physics departments that have endorsed it
In 1999, the AIP member societies, including the APS, AIP, and AAPT, endorsed a statement about science teacher preparation. Then, in 2003, physics departments from US colleges and universities were invited to endorse this statement.

PTEC
PTEC, the Physics Teacher Education Coalition, is an association of institutions dedicated to improving the physics preparation of future teachers. It grew out of the PhysTEC project (see below).

PhysTEC
A program of the APS, AIP, and AAPT to improve teacher preparation in science through collaboration of university physics and education departments.

Physical Science Resources Center
Online resources for physics teachers K –12 and undergraduate. Includes pedagogy, physics research, assessment instruments, teaching communities, and more.
