Physical Review Online Subscriptions Only $25 for APS Members

Email | Print

Beginning July 1, 1997, APS members may enter an online-only one year subscription to Physical Review Letters or any section of the Physical Review for only $25 each. In addition, APS members who have a paper subscription to Physical Review Letters or any section of the Physical Review will get a free subscription to the online version of the corresponding journal. APS members who have a paper subscription to either part of Physical Review B (B1 or B15) will get a free subscription to the online version of the entire Physical Review B (B1 and B15), as well as Physical Review B-Rapids online. APS members who have a paper subscription to either part of Physical Review D (D1 or D15) will get a free subscription to the online version of the entire Physical Review D (D1 and D15).

To take advantage of this offer, add the online journals selected on your renewal invoice and remit the appropriate payment. Please take the time to print your email address legibly in the space provided on the invoice so that we may notify you by email as to how you may register online and select your personal username and password for the online journals. We must have your correct email address to proceed.

Currently available online are Physical Review A, B-Rapid Communications, C, and D, as well as Physical Review Letters. The APS is aiming to release the online version of Physical Review B and Physical Review E in July 1997, and Reviews of Modern Physics in early 1998. As the APS continues research into the latest and most effective online delivery mode to better serve the diverse needs of the physics community, new features and delivery schedules will be incorporated into all online journals. CD-ROM versions of APS online journals are currently priced at $25 per disk and will be announced as they become available during the year.

For the latest journal subscription rates for all APS research journals and other APS membership benefits, please see the 1997-98 Guide to Member Services enclosed with your renewal package. Inquiries may also be directed to phone: (301)209-3280 or fax: (301)209-0867.
