Laszlo BaksayLaszlo Baksay is Professor and Head of Physics and Space Sciences, Department of Physics and Space Sciences, Florida Institute of technology. He received a Ph.D from the Rheinisch Westfaelische Technische Hochschule, Aachen, Germany, in 1978. His research areas are Experimental High-energy physics; precise measurements of the Standard Model and search for new physics in electron-positron collisions at the LEP accelerator of the European Center for Particle Physics (CERN), instrumentation for the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (CERN), and particle detectors at high pressure.
