To enable undergraduate students to participate in the Annual Meeting, we offer a limited number of travel awards of up to US$200 each year. Priority is usually given to students presenting a poster or a contributed paper.

The deadline for travel award applications is May 1, 2008. The information we require is:

• Your name and email address
• Name of your university or college
• Have you submitted an abstract for a poster or a talk to be presented at the Northwest Section's annual meeting?
• How much funding are you requesting? Please itemize expected expenses. (We offer up to $200 to cover transportation, registration and accommodation.)
• Describe in one paragraph how you expect to benefit from this travel award.

Please send your application to the NWAPS Section Chair via email. Efforts will be made to distribute the awards over the geographic regions of our section.
