The Science Trust Project Welcome Webinar (May 2024)

Zack Pruett, Science Trust Project lead facilitator, introduces participants to the APS Science Trust Project and provides an overview of key concepts for cultivating “science trust,” including the importance of moving from a correction framing to a connection mindset. Specifically, the webinar explores why simply "providing the facts" is inadequate, how listening well is an essential part of communication, and why private connection is generally preferable to public debates.
