APS Council Approves Three New Statements

The APS Council approved three official statements during its meeting held November 14 in Chicago.  

The following statements were drafted by the APS Panel on Public Affairs, and reviewed by the APS membership and Board of Directors before receiving final approval by the Council.  

They are:  

• Women and Physics
  
• Earth’s Changing Climate
  
• Civic Engagement of Scientists
