In her role, Healy helps to coordinate the various public engagement initiatives, such as JNIPER, WikiScientists, the Science Trust Project, and STEP UP.

    Meg Healy is the community and operations specialist at the American Physical Society. In her role, she helps coordinate the various public engagement initiatives, such as JNIPER, WikiScientists, the Science Trust Project, and STEP UP. She graduated from the University of Denver where she studied physics and mathematics. She credits her involvement in DU’s chapter of the Society of Physics Students, of which she acted as the outreach coordinator, for introducing her to and making her passionate about the world of outreach and informal physics education. In her free time she enjoys reading, running, and finding new music to listen to.
