Becoming a Bridge program member connects your institution to resources that can help you improve diversity in your physics and science departments. Through the Bridge Program, your institution receives:

• APS's support in improving diversity in your physics department
• Registration discounts for Bridge Program conferences and workshops
• Relevant policy, research, and programmatic updates
• Statistics and materials from Bridge Program projects and tracking of diversity in physics
• Immediate, focused Bridge Program updates

The member application process

To apply for institutional membership, please review and submit the application form.

Please note that the form requires an attached letter from your organization’s department leader that includes a statement of support of APS-BP goals and missions, including an endorsement of the Joint Statement of Diversity in Physics.

Other ways to become involved with the Bridge Program

If your institution's graduate program has a longstanding, demonstrated commitment to working with diverse students and supporting them as graduate scholars, you may wish to become a Bridge Program partner. Please note that your institution must complete the Bridge Program membership application before you can be considered for Bridge Program partnership.
