Haddou El Ghazi

El Ghazi leads a research group at ENSAM Laboratory, focusing on low-dimensional III-nitride semiconductors for solar cells and LASER biomedical applications.

    El Ghazi is a distinguished physicist who earned his French aggregation in physics sciences in 1997. In 2008, he received his doctorate with high distinction from Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, collaborating with Sherbrook University on the Experiment Tool. He joined the mechanical engineering department at ENSAM, Hassan 2 University, in 2016. Currently, he leads the Materials, Innovative Processes, and Energy Systems research group at ENSAM Laboratory, where his work focuses on low-dimensional III-nitride semiconductors for solar cells and LASER biomedical applications. El Ghazi teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, advising MSc and PhD students across different universities. Additionally, he serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for international journals in the field of bulk and nanomaterials, collaborating with national and international research teams to develop optoelectronic devices based on theoretical simulation models.
