Taryn MacKinney is a writer, researcher and editor, mostly of stories about science and the people who do science.
Currently, Taryn is the editor of APS News, a publication about the physics community. Previously, she led investigative work at the Union of Concerned Scientists, where she uncovered stories on mail delays in communities of color, the exodus of scientists from federal agencies and more. Before that, she researched and wrote at National Journal.
