Join APS as a Civic Science Fellow

We are seeking candidates to apply to become the APS Civic Science Fellow. Join us as we embark on a transformative journey in science communication.

The Civic Science Fellow will  bridge the gap between science, society, and diverse communities, equipping scientists to engage with audiences on emerging topics in today's information landscape. In this position, you will be at the forefront of shaping science communication practices, fostering inclusivity, and driving cultural shifts within academic and research institutions. Applicants must have least a bachelor's degree, as well as a background in civic science-related fields. 

This is a full-time, 18-month contract position, with annual compensation of $80,000 to $85,000, plus a monthly $400 stipend to help cover the cost of health insurance. This is a remote position, with occasional travel required to attend meetings and events.
